Music for All Orpheus and Eurydice Saturday 2 July 7.30pm Venue: Crypt Concert Room
The second in our opera series is Gluck's magnificent version of the ancient Greek story of Orpheus, who travels to the underworld in search of his love, Eurydice.
It includes the heart-stopping aria What is life to me without thee? and the enchanting Dance of the Blessed Spirits.
